Maygurov: biathletes of national teams have not yet received a call from the military registration and enlistment office
KEMEROVO, September 30 – RIA Novosti, Sergey Fuks. The President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), Viktor Maigurov, told RIA Novosti that to date, biathletes from the Russian national teams have not received a call to the draft board.
According to Maygurov, the SBR did not submit separate national team lists for demobilization registration. “All the lists have been in the Ministry of Sports for a long time, they are published on the website. We did not offer anything additional,” said the head of the RRF.
Partial mobilization has been declared in Russia since September 21, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, it is necessary to control the 1000-kilometer line of contact and liberated areas in Ukraine. During the mobilization, a total of 300,000 reservists will be called in, which is just over 1% of the total mobilization resource of the Russian Federation.
