MOSCOW, October 7 – RIA Novosti, Andrey Senchenko. The Russian player’s manager, Dan Milstein, said Winnipeg Jets NHL goalkeeper Mikhail Berdin has never had an alcohol or drug problem and has never had a problem.

The NHL previously announced that Berdeen would not play for Winnipeg in the 2022-23 season, following a recommendation from the NHLPA’s Common Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health Program.

“Misha Berdin does not have a problem with alcohol and drugs and never did. Psychologically, it became difficult for her to be alone away from Russia without close people, and this program is the only option to return the hockey player with a valid contract. Ice cream and playing in another league right,” said Milstein.

Berdin’s contract with Winnipeg expires in 2023. He played 14 KHL matches for SKA Petersburg in the 2020/21 season.
