Washer Namestnikova did not save “Tampa” from defeat in NHL preseason game with “Florida”
MOSCOW, October 7 – RIA Novosti. Tampa Bay Lightning lost to the Florida Panthers in a preseason game in the National Hockey League (NHL).
The match at Sunrise ended with the Panthers scoring 3:2 (2:0, 0:1, 1:1), with goals from Zach Dalpe (4th minute), Alexi Heponiemi (19) and Brandon Montour (59). Nicholas Paul (31) and Vladislav Namestnikov (45) scored with the blitz from Nikita Kucherov’s transfer.
Tampa goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevsky made 38 of 41 shots, while Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves (28 shots) and was named the third star of the game. Previously, the NHL included both goalkeepers in the number of contenders for the Vezina Trophy award in the new season.
In another game, Minnesota defeated Chicago 4-1. As part of the winners, Kirill Kaprizov made an assist.
The new NHL season kicks off on October 7 in Prague with a match between the Nashville Predators and the San Jose Sharks.
