MOSCOW, October 7 – RIA Novosti. Spartak Moscow defeated Severstal Cherepovets in the Continental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match.
The meeting in Cherepovets ended in favor of the guests at 4:2 (0:1, 2:1, 2:0). Among the winners, Andrey Loktionov (22nd minute), Matvey Zaseda (26), Philip Varone (47) and Danila Kvartalnov (56) scored. The home team scored goals from Nikita Khlystov (14) and Alexander Suvorov (30).

Spartak scored 19 points and moved up to fourth place in the Western Conference. With this loss, Severstal is fourth in the last five games and is in ninth place with 14 points.
