Al-Zaim reached their 10th point and recorded their third win of the season, while Al-Nawakhda suffered their third home defeat to remain fourth this season and one point behind in the overall standings.
Leader Andy Yarmolenko opened the scoring in the sixth minute of the match after a joint attack and scored Diba Al Fujairah improved in the second half and tried to pressure Al Ain’s defense to equalize, as did the leading scorer Laba Cujo. The match was decided by the second goal in the 90th minute.
