Ryabykin resigns as Avangard coach, Kravets reassigned to play
MOSCOW, October 10 – RIA Novosti. Avangard Omsk coach Dmitry Ryabykin resigns reported On the official website of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
Mikhail Kravets was appointed acting head coach. Avangard are eighth in the KHL Eastern Conference with 13 points from 16 games.
Ryabykin was appointed head coach of Avangard on 1 May, replacing Bob Hartley, under whose leadership the club won the Gagarin Cup in the 2020/21 season. Ryabykin was the Canadian’s assistant.
During his coaching career, Kravets headed Vityaz near Moscow and Amur Khabarovsk, and also worked in St. Petersburg SKA, Sochi and at the headquarters of the Belarusian national team.
