Dynamo players defeated Rostov in the home match of the Russian Football Cup.
MOSCOW, October 18 – RIA Novosti. Moscow “Dynamo” defeated “Rostov” (Rostov-on-Don) in the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the Russian Football Cup.

RostovRussiaGroup C match in Moscow ended with the score of 3:1. The winners were Denis Makarov (44 minutes), Vyacheslav Grulev (79) and Fedor Smolov (87). Dmitry Poloz (55) scored from the visitors’ penalty spot.
Dynamo scored seven points and moved up to first place in the group standings. “Rostov” (6) – the third. Grozny “Akhmat” (6 points) and “Orenburg” (2) also play in the group.
In the fifth round on November 9, Dynamo will face Akhmat Grozny en route, and Rostov will visit Orenburg on the same day.
In the group round of the RPL route, the teams are divided into four groups and play in two rounds. The top two places will qualify for the playoffs on the way to the RPL. Teams that finish third will play in the regional playoffs.
