James believes Irving is overconditioned to return to the game
MOSCOW, November 11 – RIA Novosti. National Basketball Association (NBA) forward club “Los Angeles Lakers” LeBron James said that “Brooklyn Nets” player Kyrie Irving has set extreme conditions to return to the court.
Earlier, Irving shared on Twitter a link to a movie that promotes anti-Semitic stereotypes. After a wave of criticism, the basketball player apologized for his post causing a negative reaction, but many found his words insincere. The club suspended Irving for at least five games and set six conditions before him. These include apologizing, condemning their actions, stating that they have no anti-Semitic beliefs, donating $500,000 to the Anti-Defamation League, and taking courses to prevent anti-Semitism and hatred. Irving was also ordered to meet with Nets owner Joe Tsai and show he understood his mistake.
Irving is 30 years old. 2015/16 NBA Champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The basketball player received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the 2014 NBA All-Star Game. Along with the USA team, he won the gold medal of the 2016 Olympic Games and became the world champion in 2014. He is averaging 26.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the current season of the NBA regular season.
