SKA lost to Sibir, third consecutive KHL defeat
MOSCOW, November 12 – RIA Novosti. Novosibirsk “Siberia” in the regular season game of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) St. beat Petersburg SKA.
The match, which took place in Novosibirsk, ended in favor of the hosts 3:2 (1:0, 2:2, 0:0). Among the winners were Michal Chaikovsky (13th minute), Vladimir Butuzov (33) and Valentin Pyanov (39), who played in his 300th KHL game. Nikita Gusev (21) and Damir Zhafyarov (25) scored goals for the guests.
SKA got their third consecutive defeat away. Previously, St. Petersburg lost to Admiral Vladivostok (1:3) and Amur Khabarovsk (1:2 Overtime).
Sibir is in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 37 points. SKA is leading the West with 52 points.
In another match, Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg defeated Vityaz 4:1 (1:0, 1:1, 2:0) near Moscow.
