MOSCOW, November 16 – RIA Novosti. Ulyanovsk “Volga” defeated Krasnodar “Kuban” in football in the sixth round match of the regions of the Russian Cup and reached the main round of the playoffs of the tournament.

The match in Krasnodar ended with the defeat of the home team by a score of 1:2. Denis Rakhmanov (18th minute) and Daniil Arsentiev (28th minute) scored among the winners. Nuri Abdokov (71) scored the ball in the Kuban. In the 89th minute, home striker Artem Shchetkin was sent off for a second yellow card.

In February, Volga will meet with one of the clubs that will take third place in the quartet in the group stage of the RPL route. Formerly Ufa, St. Petersburg Zvezda and Togliatti Akron entered the main tour of the path of the regions.

The Russian Cup is held in a new format, teams reach the finals in two ways.
