MOSCOW, November 17 – RIA Novosti. The chairman of the board of the hockey club Alexander Krylov said that at the board meeting on November 18, Mikhail Kravets will be approved as the head coach of Omsk Avangard.
Kravets was named acting head coach following the resignation of Dmitry Ryabykin in October. Avangard has 11 wins in 15 matches under his leadership. On Thursday the team beat Sochi at home (5:4 Overtime) and extended their winning streak to eight matches in the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
During his coaching career, Kravets headed Vityaz near Moscow and Amur Khabarovsk, and also worked in St. Petersburg SKA, Sochi and worked at the headquarters of the Belarus national team.
