Ak Bars defender Evseev was not seriously injured in the match against SKA.
KAZAN, November 18 – RIA Novosti, Vadim Kuznetsov. A source told RIA Novosti that Ak Bars hockey player Nikita Evseev will go with the Kazan team to the away games to be played against Avangard Omsk, Sibir Novosibirsk and Barys Astana.
On Thursday, Evseev suffered a knee injury during the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) with SKA from St. Petersburg and was off the field with the help of doctors and partners at the end of the second period. Kazan head coach Oleg Znarok said after the game that the defender would likely miss a game.
The 18-year-old Evseev scored 5 (4+1) points in 25 games in his first season in the KHL and is Ak Bars’ best defender in terms of utility (“+6”).
The next match “Ak Bars” will play against “Vanguard” on November 19 in Omsk.
