WADA to insist on early CAS ruling on Valieva’s doping case

Earlier, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) announced that it had registered a case called “WADA against the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) and Valieva”. According to the information obtained from the CAS statement, WADA asked RUSADA to make a decision on the Valieva case by November 4, when this was not done, WADA handed over the Russian figure skater’s case to CAS.

Niggli said, “We followed this case from the very beginning, it was out of our hands. The decision should have been made in Russia.
