Irismetov believes he will have a match if Urunov enters CSKA
TASHKENT, November 20 – RIA Novosti, Alexander Sergeev. Former goal scorer of Moscow football club “Spartak” Jafar Irismetov told RIA Novosti that midfielder Oston Urunov could play for CSKA.
Urunov moved from Ufa to Spartak in August 2020. The Uzbek midfielder scored one goal in nine matches played as part of the “red-whites”. In September, the Moscow club terminated the contract with Urunov.
“In the Urals, Oston had a disagreement with the coach. Maybe he had a fight because he had no playing practice. Urunov’s character is tough, so it’s hard for him too. I don’t think he will return to Uzbekistan. He will most likely continue his career in other Asian countries. He is a good football player, but reputation is tarnished.”
