MOSCOW, November 21 – RIA Novosti, Vlad Zhukov. A source told RIA Novosti that former figure skater Vladislav Tarasenko and the husband of 2014 Olympic champion Yulia Lipnitskaya in team competition were drafted in the fall as part of the partial mobilization.
According to the source, the 25-year-old Tarasenko received a summons and appeared at the military registration and enlistment office, after which he was sent to a training ground in Alabino near Moscow for training.
In the summer of 2020, Lipnitskaya and Tarasenko had a daughter named Katalina.
During her figure skating career, Tarasenko trained with Alexei and Tatyana Mishins, Eteri Tutberidze, won the Russian Cup Final among juniors in 2015, and spent the last season of the 2017/18 season in pair skating under the guidance of Tamara Moskvina.
On September 21, by decree of President Vladimir Putin, partial mobilization was declared in Russia. A total of 300,000 reservists were called during the mobilization.
