Iran coach criticizes BBC reporter for questions about the situation in the country
MOSCOW, November 24 – RIA Novosti. The head coach of the Iranian national football team, Carlos Queiroz, criticized the BBC correspondent when asked about the political situation in the country.
During a press conference before the World Cup group stage runoff match in Qatar on Thursday, Queiroz of Portugal was asked a few questions about the political situation in Iran.
Mass riots and protests have continued in Iran since mid-September over the death of Mahsa Amini, a young Iranian woman, after she was detained by the police aide.
The match between Iran and Wales national teams in Group B will be played on Friday. The beginning of the meeting – 13:00 Moscow time.
