“Kunlun Red Star” beat “Sochi” in KHL Western Conference foreign match
MOSCOW, November 25 – RIA Novosti. Beijing “Kunlun Red Star” defeated “Sochi” in the regular season match of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The match in Mytishchi ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of the Beijing team (2:0, 2:1, 1:1), where Brandon Yip scored a splint (8th and 13th minutes), Zach Leslie also scored (22), Jason Frahm (23) and Tyler Vaughn (42). In Sochi, Sergei Popov (37) and Dmitry Zavgorodniy (53) scored.

“Kunlun Red Star” won their sixth consecutive victory against “Sochi” at home. Beijing club last lost to Sochi team on 4 November 2017 (3:4).
Greg Ireland’s team has scored 29 points and is the penultimate, 10th place in the Western Conference standings. Sochi is in 11th place with 16 points.
