MOSCOW, November 26 – RIA Novosti. The Washington Capitals defeated the Calgary Flames at home of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season.
The match, which took place in the US capital, ended with the hosts winning 3:0 (1:0, 1:0, 1:0). As part of the winners, goals were scored by TJ Oshi (8th minute) and Russians Evgeny Kuznetsov (17) and Alexander Ovechkin (53). Ovechkin also has an assist.

Ovechkin has 1,431 points in 1,296 regular NHL games and is the 18th all-time high scorer in league history. The Russian is in third place (791 washers) in the list of NHL snipers. Gordie Howe is second with 801 and Wayne Gretzky holds the record for goals with 894.
