Stefan Nousen (7th minute), assisted by Russia’s Andrei Svechnikov and Jesperi Kotkaniemi (16), scored for Carolina. David Krejci scored a double for the hosts (40), David Pastrnak scored the decisive goal (64). Russian goalkeeper Pyotr Kochetkov saved 38 of 41 shots.
