Group G match ended 3:3 at “El Janub” stadium. Jean-Charles Castelletto (29th minute), Vincent Abubakar (63) and Eric Choupo-Moting (66) scored goals for the African team. The goals of the Serbian national team were Strahinja Pavlovich (45+1), Sergei Milinkovic-Savic (45+3) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (53).
Serbia became the first team in World Cup history to score two goals in extra time in the first half, according to statistics service Opta.
In the 67th minute, Russian midfielder Gael Ondua replaced the African team. Andre Onana, the head goalkeeper of the Cameroon team, missed the match. According to the news of Marca newspaper, he will leave the tournament due to disagreements with coach Rigobert Song.
