Luis Suarez was not in the starting 11 of Uruguay’s World Cup match against Portugal.
MOSCOW, November 28 – RIA Novosti. According to the International Football Federation’s (FIFA) website, striker Luis Suarez was not included in the Uruguayan national team’s World Cup group stage second-round match against Portugal.
The Group H match will be held on Monday at the Lusail Iconic Stadium and kicks off at 22:00 Moscow time. Edinson Cavani will replace Suarez on offense.
The Portuguese starting line-up includes: Diogo Costa (goalkeeper), Pepe, Ruben Dias, Nuno Mendes, Juan Cancelo, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Neves, William Carvalho, Cristiano Ronaldo (captain), Juan Felix.
From the first minutes, the Uruguayan team will be on the field: Sergio Rochet (goalkeeper), Diego Godin (captain), Jose Jimenez, Sebastian Coates, Guillermo Varela, Matias Olivera, Federico Valverde, Rodrigo Bentancur, Matias Vecino, Darwin Nunez, Edinson Cavani.
