“This championship is over for us! Yes we beat Brazil but it wasn’t enough to go further. I will remember these days in Qatar for my whole life. Both positive team moments and all the chances we failed to convert. We didn’t go any further but that’s life,” wrote Ondua on Telegram in the channel.

“The World Cup taught me a lot. Especially – to appreciate every day, every game, every fan who personally supports you. And of course my teammates. And my dream came true. I played in the World Cup. I felt real happiness. Being here and on the pitch I got incredible emotions from every minute spent. Thank you once again to everyone, it was unforgettable,” the 27-year-old football player concluded.

Ondua was born in Cameroon but has been living in Russia since childhood. The football player began his career in the youth team of Moscow Lokomotiv. He also played for CSKA Moscow, Zorya Lugansk, Anji Makhachkala, Swiss Servette and Danish Vejle. Now it represents the German “Hanover”.
