MOSCOW, December 20 – RIA Novosti, Pavel Levkovich. Stanislav Pozdnyakov, President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), said that Russian national teams showed good results in various competitions during the Olympic cycle, given the difficult training and performance conditions.

The Olympic meeting will be held in Moscow on Tuesday.

The head of the PRC said, “Given all the conditions for the beginnings, the results can be considered valuable. The training process in Tokyo was divided into five years, the program and the process were transformed. One of the tasks is to unlock the potential of the Athletes and bring them to the top. Using the Experience Federations, all the other institution and together with the departments we managed to provide all the conditions for our athletes.In the preparation process, we solved the problems with its implementation.CAS decision.Some figures tried to take restrictive measures against our country: uniform color, flag and music.Controversial points managed to defend, removing a serious part of the restrictions.All I want to thank the staff for maximum compliance with the rules of the Games.”

The President of the PRC emphasized that the main result of all hard work is the participation of teams in the Olympics.

Pozdnyakov said, “After the pandemic, our country was no exception, we experienced a decrease in funding. We not only found reserves, but also launched a pilot project, in which specialist experts began to receive direct funding from the PRC quarter billion rubles and fully fulfilled our obligations regarding the participation of athletes in the Games. Today, despite all the circumstances, we maintain our stability.”
