Skater Murashov won the 500m race at the separate distances at the Russian Championship
MOSCOW, December 26 – RIA Novosti. World champion speed skater Ruslan Murashov won the 500m race at the Russian Single Distance Championship held in Kemerovo.
Murashov covered the distance in 35.19 seconds. Victor Mushtakov (+0.15 s) finished second and Artem Arefiev (+0.23 s) was third. At 5,000m, Daniil Aldoshkin came first (6:37.27), Vladimir Semirunniy second (+1.05), Alexander Podolsky third (+1.09).
Kristina Silaeva (38.66) won the gold medal at this distance in women. The silver medal went to Angelina Golikova (+0.17) and the bronze medal was Irina Kuznetsova (+0.82). In women’s 3,000 meters, Evgenia Lalenkova became the Russian champion (4:13.59), Ekaterina Kosheleva (+2.6) took silver and Elizaveta Golubeva (+4.54) bronze.
The Russian Speed Skating Championships, which also includes athletes from Belarus, will end on December 28.
