Channel One reserved the right to choose broadcast commentators with Trusova’s participation

“Channel One has always accurately covered the career of Alexandra Trusova, and with respect for her work and achievements, in sports broadcasts, in news bulletins and in special materials devoted exclusively to Alexandra. This season, her father Vyacheslav Trusov really laid out a number of requirements, among others – by making an appointment with the commentators and presenters of any program with the participation of Alexandra, as well as about the “criticism” addressed to her. Channel One wants to retain the right to independently choose sports commentators and experts. And they have the right to freely express their professional views on the air ” says the TV channel press release.

“Taking this opportunity, we wish Alexandra a speedy recovery, we look forward to her performances in the tournaments next year, which we will certainly show as always,” the text of the press release reads.
