“Carolina” beat “Chicago” in NHL match, Svechnikov failed to score
MOSCOW, December 28 – RIA Novosti. The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Chicago Blackhawks in a National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game.
The match, which took place in Raleigh, ended with a score of 3:0 (2:0, 0:0, 1:0) in favor of the home side. Among the winners were Martin Necas (4th minute), Jesper Fast (9) and Jordan Martinuk (45).

Russian striker “Carolina” Andrey Svechnikov fired five shots on target and made four power moves. Hurricane goalkeeper Petr Kochetkov remained on the bench.
The Hurricanes won their ninth consecutive league title. “Chicago” have had nine losses in the last ten games.
