RAF Executive Director Sirotkin: funding is one of my key tasks
MOSCOW, May 18 – RIA Novosti. The Executive Director of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF), former Formula 1 driver Sergey Sirotkin, outlined the priority of the work of the federation and the key tasks it faces.
Sirotkin took over as executive director of the RAF on 1 May, replacing Sergei Ivanov in this role.
Sirotkin raced in Formula 1 for Williams in the 2018 season. He also worked for Sauber, Renault and McLaren teams.
Sirotkin, a participant in the Russian racing program SMP Racing, is missing the season after the International Automobile Federation (FIA) banned Russian racers from competing under his country’s flag. Russia was supposed to compete in the endurance race at the European Cup in 2022.
