KAZAN, January 9 – RIA Novosti, Vadim Kuznetsov. Kazan football club “Rubin” will begin its first winter training camp in Turkey under the guidance of deputy head coach Yuri Utkulbaev, speaking to RIA Novosti.
The collection will begin on January 10. Utkulbaev became acting head coach in November following Leonid Slutsky’s resignation. In December, it was reported that Rubin returned to the control of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Rubin” plays in the Russian First Division championship and, after 20 games, is in third place at the table, which gives him the right to compete for access to the top division in the play-offs. Rubin is 4 points behind leader Baltika Kaliningrad and 1 point behind Vladikavkaz Alania.
