Rustam Saimanov resigned from the post of general manager of the “Rubin” football club
MOSCOW, January 12 – RIA Novosti. Rustam Saimanov resigned from the post of general manager of Kazan “Rubin”, reported on the website of the football club.
“Rubin” expresses his gratitude to Rustem Fidaevich for his contribution to the development of the club, wishes further success in business and family well-being!
Saymanov, 60, has been the Managing Director of Rubin since April 2018. Prior to that, he worked at the club as a sports director (2007-2008, 2017-2018).
In December, the club returned to the control of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, a month before head coach Leonid Slutsky left the club, since then Yury Utkulbaev has been acting head coach.
Collecting 37 points in 20 games, “Rubin” is in the third place in the First Division rankings.
