Grishin: It will soon be known when Ribar will return to Spartak
MOSCOW, January 13 – RIA Novosti, Andrey Senchenko. Igor Grishin, head coach of the Moscow hockey club “Spartak”, told reporters that the timing of the restoration of the red-and-white goalkeeper Patrick Ribar will become known in the near future.
Ribar played his last game in the Continental Hockey League (KHL) on December 30. The Spartak goalkeeper missed five games during the regular season due to injury.
On Friday, “Spartak” lost to Chelyabinsk “Tractor” (2:4).
“It is difficult for us to win by scoring only two goals. We have problems with that and the conversion of chances. If we score more than two we win, no we lose. We missed the majority, mostly Traktor. We got the advantage, we got the advantage, we manage normally, we play hockey, it’s shameful to lose, I hate losing and we worry about it, certain reasons why we can’t win there is, but I don’t want to voice it out so as not to insult individual players. I’m very happy for Fedor Svechkov.
Traktor’s head coach Anvar Gatiyatulin focused on his team’s defense in the match against Spartak.
“We understood that Spartak played actively. It was important for us to establish defense, we got the job done. We relaxed in the second period, we made mistakes, the opponent gave penalties. There was no support from each other, but we added these moments in the third period and we got the win,” he said.
