Chelsea have confirmed that they are close to signing Shakhtar player Mudrik.
MOSCOW, January 15 – RIA Novosti. English football club Chelsea has confirmed on its official website that it is close to signing Ukrainian Shakhtar player Mykhailo Mudryk.
Earlier it was reported that Chelsea representatives came to Poland to buy Mudrik. The Blues are planning to snatch the player from Arsenal in London, leaving behind their offer of 100m. Later on Saturday, the fact that the negotiations were successful was confirmed by Shakhtar’s press service.
Mudrik is 22 years old. He has appeared in 18 Shakhtar games in all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.
