2014 US Open champion Croatian tennis player Cilic successfully underwent knee surgery
MOSCOW, January 21 – RIA Novosti. Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic said he will miss part of the 2023 season due to knee surgery.
In January, Cilic withdrew from the quarter-finals of the top-seeded ATP 250 tournament in Pune (India) due to a knee injury, and subsequently withdrew from the Australian Open (Australian Open).
Former world number 3 and winner of the 2014 US Open, Cilic is 34 years old. There are 20 ATP singles titles in total. She is the winner of the Davis Cup (2018) and the silver medalist in doubles of the Olympic Games in Tokyo as part of the Croatian national team.
