MOSCOW, January 22 – RIA Novosti. American defender “Tampa” Ian Cole stood up for teammate goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky and got into a fight with Canadian forward “Calgary” Milan Lucic during the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The meeting will take place in Calgary on Saturday. In the first period, Lucic hit Vasilevski outside the goal in the puck fight. The Russian waved to his opponent and pushed him aside.
After this episode, Cole dropped his gloves and attacked Lucic, starting a fight. During the fight, the judges even raised the “lightning” doors so as not to interfere with the fight. Both players were suspended for five minutes each.
