Media: English “Brighton” made an offer for “Shakhtar” actor Matviyenko
MOSCOW, January 24 – RIA Novosti. According to Twitter correspondent Fabrizio Romano, English football club “Brighton” made an offer to Ukrainian “Shakhtar” defender Mykola Matvienko.
According to the source, the club offered 11 million euros for the player. The Ukrainian side estimates the transfer of the 26-year-old player at 30 million euros if he leaves during this transfer window.
Matvienko, a graduate of Shakhtar, also represented Ukraine Vorskla on loan. In total, he played 150 matches for his local club, scored six goals and made nine assists, and also won the Ukrainian championship three times, the National Cup four times and the Ukrainian Super Cup once. He played 54 matches for the national team of Ukraine, including five matches in the European Championship – 2020.
