Tennis star Novak Djokovic reached another milestone in his successful career by reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open. The 35-year-old Serbian player defeated Russian Andrei Rublev 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinals. Djokovic took his 26th consecutive victory at the Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne, drawing with US record holder Andre Agassi.

The fifth seeded Rublev also lost the seventh quarter-final in a major tournament. Djokovic is the clear favorite against Tommy Paul in Friday’s 44th Grand Slam semi-final. Number 35 in the world.
