Hockey player “Vancouver” Mikheev: playing was a test, the operation will take place next week
MOSCOW, January 28 – RIA Novosti. National Hockey League (NHL) Russian striker Vancouver Canucks Ilya Mikheev stated that it was difficult for him to play with a knee injury and said he will have surgery next week.
On Saturday, Vancouver general manager Patrick Alwyn said Mikheev needed surgery for his ACL injury. The injury was received during pre-season training camp. Mikheev’s manager, Dan Milstein, told RIA Novosti that the player should recover at the start of the 2023/24 NHL season. In the current regular season, the Russian player played 46 games and scored 28 points (13 goals and 15 assists).
