Shomurodov’s manager, Muminov, said that the player is not considering options to transfer to RPL clubs.
MOSCOW, January 30 – RIA Novosti, Sergey Fuks. Kahor Muminov, manager of Uzbekistan national team player Eldor Shomurodov, told RIA Novosti that he is not considering the option of returning to the Russian Premier League (RPL) during the current transfer window.
On Monday, it was announced that Shomurodov, who plays for Roman Roma, has moved to Spezia on loan. Sky Sport Italia previously reported that the loan would cost Spezia €1.5 million and that the club would not have a buyout option for the 27-year-old striker.
Shomurodov moved from Italian Genoa to Rome in August 2021. Before that, he played for the Russian “Rostov” and the Uzbek “Bunyodkor”. Within the Roma club, the striker made 48 appearances and scored 6 goals.
