Italian Stefano Oldani wins stage 12 of the Giro d’Italia

On Thursday, Oldani covered the 204 kilometer stage on the Parma – Genoa route in 4 hours 26 minutes 47 seconds. Italy’s Lorenzo Rota (Intermarche – Wanty – Gobert Materiaux) finished second and the Netherlands’ Gijs Lemreise (Jumbo-Visma) was third, 2 seconds behind.
French cyclist Pavel Sivakov (Ineos Grenadiers) came to the finish line 46th (+9.08).
Spain’s Juan Pedro Lopez (Trek – Segafredo) is the leader in the Giro general classification with a total time of 51 hours 19 minutes 7 seconds, Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) is second, Portugal’s João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates) is third, both riders are 12 seconds behind the leader. .
Sivakov has dropped four places in the overall standings and is now in 29th place (+11.54).
