RFU agrees with a Chinese company to use VAR offside lines

These virtual lines are used to determine offside positions when using the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, as well as in televised matches. As noted, the Chinese system is currently undergoing final testing to obtain a FIFA certification, with plans to be used in all matches and television broadcasts of the Russian Premier League (RPL) by the end of this season.
Due to the change in the operator supplying the VAR system in Russia, in the first half of the season, the referees could not count on determining offsides on virtual lines.
