Fedor Emelianenko beat Bader in the Bellator title match
MOSCOW, February 3 – RIA Novosti. According to the promotion’s Twitter account, Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Fedor Emelianenko outweighed his rival, American Ryan Bader, in the title fight for the Bellator heavyweight title.
Emelianenko’s fight for the heavyweight title, owned by Bader, will be held in Los Angeles on February 4 as part of the Bellator 290 tournament.
Emelianenko showed 107.1 kg on the scales. His opponent is 106.3 kg. Both athletes met the heavyweight limit.
Emelianenko and Bader previously faced each other in January 2019. The American defeated Fedor by knockout in the first minute of the fight. Emelianenko has 40 wins and six losses in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career. Bader, 39, has 30 wins and seven losses.
