Fedor Emelianenko lost to Bellator champion Ryan Bader in his last fight.
MOSCOW, February 5 – RIA Novosti. Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Fedor Emelianenko lost to Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader and failed to win the league belt from the American in his final fight.
The fight, which became the main event of the 290th promotional tournament hosted by Los Angeles, ended with the US representative’s victory by technical knockout in the first round. This was the second match of the athletes: at the beginning of 2019, Bader knocked out Emelianenko in the first minute of the match.
On the eve of the fight, the Russian repeatedly stated that his second fight with Bader will be the last in his professional career.
Emelianenko is 46 years old. They have 40 wins with seven losses. Bader, 39, had 31 wins and seven losses.
