MMA fighter Bader in two fights against Emelianenko: I’m happy to be a part of this story
MOSCOW, February 5 – RIA Novosti. American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Ryan Bader, after his second victory over Emelianenko, said that it was an honor for him to be in the same cage with Fedor twice.
The fight, which became the main event of the 290th promotional tournament hosted by Los Angeles, ended with the US representative’s victory by technical knockout in the first round. This was the second match of the athletes: at the beginning of 2019, Bader knocked out Emelianenko in the first minute of the match.
On the eve of the fight, the Russian repeatedly stated that his second fight with Bader will be the last in his professional career. Emelianenko is 46 years old. They have 40 wins with seven losses. Bader, 39, had 31 wins and seven losses.
