Zakarian believes Trusova has the right to participate in the ISU award for rental at the Olympics
MOSCOW, February 6 – RIA Novosti, Vlad Zhukov. Ari Zakaryan, the founder of the project, said in an interview with RIA Novosti that the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympic Games, Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova, has the right to be nominated for the ISU Skating Awards for her performance in Beijing.
The ISU Skating Awards took place in Zurich on Sunday. In the nomination “For Special Merit”, the victory was won by the American Ilya Malinin, who became the first figure skater in history to cleanly perform a quadruple ax at competitions. Russian Olympic champion Anna Shcherbakova (“Most Valuable Skater”) was among the nominees for the award.
In the free skating event at the 2022 Olympics, Trusova became the first figure skater in history to complete five quadruple jumps in one programme.
