World’s No. 3 Ounce Jaber to miss tournaments in Doha and Dubai due to surgery
MOSCOW, February 8 – RIA Novosti. Tunisian tennis player Ons Jaber has announced that he will miss the tournaments in Doha (WTA 500) and Dubai (WTA 1000) due to his surgery.
“I want to apologize to all the fans in the Middle East who await our reunion. I promise to return to you strong and healthy,” the tennis player said.
Zhaber is 28 years old, third racket in the world. He has three wins in WTA tournaments in singles. Jaber played his last match on January 19 – losing to Czech Marketa Vondrousova, the 89th racket in the world, in the second round of the Australian Open.
The tournament will be held in Doha from February 13-18 and in Dubai from February 19-25.
