Fujairah International Mountain Shooting Championship starts tomorrow

Under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Hereder Prince of Fujairah, tomorrow will begin the official competitions of the Fujairah International Mountain Shooting Championship, which began with a preliminary training session in the past lunes and will continue until the 11th of February. The great support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi are at the forefront of the tournament’s success factors, as well as providing integrated logistical services to participants. Participating in the world competition, in addition to the intensity of competition between competitors, mainly because they are world champions and experienced in the sport of target shooting.
A member of the organizing committee, Prof. Hessa Al Falasi, confirmed that the training days of the tournament had a large influx of participants who flocked to buy tickets for training and parallel tournaments, the biggest ever held in an official tournament.

Qatari competitor Mona Nasser Al-Nubi described the atmosphere of the tournament as exciting and highlighted that the presence of a large number of experienced players in the game presents a great challenge for participants, amidst strong competition in mountain shooting. .

For his part, the English competitor Peter Mead assessed the organization and organization of the tournament as exceptional and that the large influx of participants indicates that a great effort was made by the organizers, which confirms the capabilities of the Emirate of Fujairah and its achievements . global. . in the organization of events and similar activities.
Mead said it was his first time playing a tournament in the Emirates and Fujairah in particular, stating that the tournament chose the right location in terms of terrain and terrain, describing the locations of the firing platforms as excellent. And clarifying the objective of the jackpot, praising the invitation of world shooting champion “George Dickwid” to join the tournament team, which encouraged him and helped to attract the world champions of the game.
