“Nizhny Novgorod” football player signed a contract with Glushakov
MOSCOW, February 10 – RIA Novosti, Oleg Bogatov. Denis Glushakov, a former midfielder of the Russian national football team, has signed a contract with the club Nizhny Novgorod, he told RIA Novosti.
Details of the deal with the 36-year-old midfielder are unknown.
After the New Year holidays, Glushakov told RIA Novosti that by mutual agreement of the parties, he parted ways with Khimki near Moscow and was looking for a new team. Nizhny Novgorod Director General Ravil Izmailov told the agency that the midfielder was training with the team at a training camp in Turkey.
Glushakov has been playing for Khimki since October 2020. In the Moscow Region team, the midfielder made 67 matches, scoring 15 goals and 5 assists in these matches. He played in Akhmat Grozny as well as Lokomotiv Moscow and Spartak, where he was the Russian champion before.
