Figure skater Fedotov leads after short program at Russian Junior Championships
PERM, February 15 – RIA Novosti. Figure skater Arseniy Fedotov takes the lead after the short program at the Russian Junior Championships in Perm.
Fedotov, representing the Khrustalny school, scored 87.81 with his performance. The second is Lev Lazarev (85.69) from the sports school of the Zhuk Olympic reserve. Closes the top three Vladislav Dikidzhi (81.98) from the “Star Ice” school.
Skaters will present their free program on Thursday. The Russian Junior Championships will end on Friday.
Against the backdrop of events in Ukraine on March 1, the Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) banned Russian and Belarusian figure skaters, speed skaters and short track skaters from participating in international tournaments. In June, the ISU Congress approved this resolution, valid until further notice.
