Former Lokomotiv defender Chorluka described Dziuba and Smolnikov as “proven fighters”
MOSCOW, February 22 – RIA Novosti. Russian Champion with Lokomotiv Vedran Chorluka judicial Newcomers to the Moscow football club Igor Smolnikov and Artem Dzyuba are proven fighters who know how to play under great pressure.
Dziuba and Smolnikov signed contracts with Lokomotiv on February 8. Joining the railways with the right to be released, the 34-year-old player signed agreements with the ‘red-greens’ until the end of this season. On December 28, Lokomotiv announced the transfer of 18-year-old Sergey Pinyaev and 23-year-old Maxim Glushenkov, who previously played for Wings of the Russia. Former midfielders of the Samara team signed a four-year contract.
Dziuba was dissolved by mutual agreement of the parties last November with Turkish club Adana Demirspor, where he has been playing since August and has been in free agent status since then. Smolnikov’s last club was Torpedo Moscow, whose contract he terminated at the end of December.
