“Salavat Yulaev” beat “Siberia” in the penultimate match of the KHL championship
MOSCOW, February 24 – RIA Novosti. Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” beat Novosibirsk “Siberia” in the penultimate match of the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The match held in Novosibirsk on Friday ended in favor of the guests 3:1 (2:0, 1:1, 0:0). The winners were noted Nikolai Kulemin (1st minute), Danil Bashkirov (9) and Alexander Khmelevsky (27). Anton Nazarevich scored for the home team (39).
Striker “Salavat Yulaev” Alexander Kadeikin assisted in the match and recorded his 250th point in the KHL.
“Siberia” and “Salavat Yulaev” faced each other four times during the season and got two wins each.
In the final match of the “regular season”, “Salavat Yulaev” will face “Metallurg” Magnitogorsk away on February 26 and will host Yekaterinburg “Motorist” on the “Siberia” ice on the same day.
