Nichushkin’s two assists helped Colorado beat Calgary in an NHL game
MOSCOW, February 26 – RIA Novosti. The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Calgary Flames in a home game during the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season.
The game in Denver ended with a score of 4:1 (2:0, 1:1, 1:0). Nathan McKinnon (4th minute), Alex Newhook (9), Mikko Rantanen (23) and Denis Malgin (45) scored for Colorado. Tyler Toffoli (38) scores for Calgary.

Russian forward Avalanche Valery Nichushkin provided two assists. His compatriot and teammate goalkeeper Alexander Georgiev saved 28 shots. Russian defender “Calgary” Nikita Zadorov did not engage in productive actions.
Colorado climbed to second place in the Central League standings with 71 points in 57 games in their fifth consecutive win. Calgary is fifth in the Pacific Division with 66 points from 60 games.
